Quick Post: Diablo 3 possible turn away?

The Auction House, if you was interested in Diablo 3 and have not heard about their planned Auction house facility already, then here it is...

The Auction house plans to be an 'eBay for Sanctuary' involving real life money to buy and sell goods. Good job Blizzard, you've just lost many customers who have been waiting for this game!

Blizzard, a company that has many online game-farmers, decides to bring out something for their newest game which is going to make it just that little bit easier for them to get more money?
Not only that but if they didn't have enough competition as it was with upcoming releases, looks like they just made it harder for themselves.

Overgrowth!

So, my friend ColloseusXReturns (link to his youtube on the right of this page) came across this company called 'Wolfire Games' previous games including 'Lugaru', he came across 'Overgrowth' and instantly pre-ordered it... He took a video in which I will be linking below showing the ALPHA stages of the game. Its still in development so do not expect too much from this video, as I say its Alpha Sandbox version of the game which you can also get from pre-ordering from:

APB Vehicles?

Browsing around, found out a few things about APB:R... about the Vehicles...

However... it seems a variety of players - including people I have personally played with seem to be getting vehicles parts which are not even implemented into the game as of yet... I myself have also been sent one of these vehicles... Not only that, but I seem to have come across a 'Patriot Mikra'; This is a 4 door Mikra, which originally loads as a Patriot (when your game has not rendered the vehicle etc properly) however, after rendering - turns into a Mikra with transparent wheels.

I have been told how its possible and I do not want to say too much as I do not want anyone or everyone who reads this to suddenly look into how to do it, but I have been told that it is no 3rd party program or no actual hack, anyone and everyone has the capability of doing it - just need the know-how! With this, there is APPARENTLY no fix... That's what I have been told, I find it highly unlikely that the programmers and coders at G1 will never be able to fix it, but... Apparently unless they completely remove the customization aspect to the game - anyone will always be able to unlock any item of clothing or any car and even possibly in future patches any wep's (if they become tradable).

But again, I dont believe that there is no FIX... It's just a matter of time, but until then, they are banning people who have these vehicles etc, so don't even buy one from the marketplace, because you DO have a chance to be banned for it.

Amnesia Game Review!

When I first started playing Amnesia I knew of how shocking it was after watching various videos from different youtubers showing how jaw-droppingly scary the experience of playing it was. Even at the start of the game I found that ambient noises were already making me jump and my body was always pumping with adrenaline.

It takes a while to actually see an enemy in the game and by the time it happened I started to feel complacent in the fact that I had not run into any real danger so I was not being as careful as I should have been, when I did run into an enemy I instantly paused the game for time to calm down and a moment to focus on what I had to do. The game is made in such a way that I found myself needing to do this in tricky situations since you need to use 'wit' to outsmart the enemy rather than the usual run-and-gun tactics implemented into most games these days.

This game certainly deserves the title of ‘survival-horror’ with sometimes scarce resources and extremely frightening situations at the best of times. When faced with an enemy you are advised to run or hide since attempts to fight the enemy is usually futile.

Many scenes are obviously scripted which removes a sense of randomness about the game, knowing that each time you play it will be near enough the same... Also, the controls do seem rather clunky, the way you have to manually interact with most objects can become frustrating especially when you are in a hurry; an example being running away from an enemy and attempting to close a door behind you can turn out to be rather difficult when faced with a big monster-type thing appearing at your face when you turn around - saying this, it sure does add to the whole scare factor of the game on a whole. The fact that you can’t fight the enemies is frustrating at times but this again adds to the fear you are faced with in the game and knowing that you can’t defend yourself only makes the game scarier.

Upon completing this game I have found myself drawn to the genre and, despite the negatives I stated, have been inspired to play the Penumbra series, made by the same developer ‘Frictional games’. Kudos to them and I hope to see a sequel as well as the already released DLC for the game, so shall let you know about them also!

I recommend this game to anyone up for a scare.

Too long!

Again, been too long since I last made a post, so for you followers I honestly apologise... Trying to get new things up and running for the blog, be it not only game reviews, but tutorials e.g fps fixes or photoshop things, and even thinking about including some film/movie reviews to throw in here too... so stay tuned, more exciting new things are yet to come! Oh and ofcourse, more giveaways!

APBR: Name and Shame?

So... there is now a weekly name and shame on the forums for all the hackers which have been banned, I'm thinking its fairly pointless, but I dont know really, what is the point? Fair enough your sitting there, raging because your playing against a hacker... and its probably quite nice to see their name pop up on the weekly name and shame banned list, but other than that - why do it ? Or is it just to keep all them people whining about hackers happy, showing that they are actually doing something about these cheaters... who knows, all I know is that I will be quite happy when I see some names up there who I have played against :)

GamersFirst being toyed with?

So, there is a player called Unstuck that roles on the EU Patriot server as an enforcer. This guy has been seen with items which are not in the game!, ranging from clothing customisation, cigar (in her mouth while playing), body kit modification to cars (can only be unlocked by purchasing from Armas Marketplace).

This guy has been classed a great threat to the game and the community, he has been reported many times for hacking and exploiting the game but G1 has done nothing. In fact, many players see Unstuck as a genius because of what he/she did.

I seem to get the impression that G1 is not banning this player for good because they are scared that he will come back for more... who knows?

We will keep you updated on this!

UPDATES!

Ok so I have been away for the weekend, not much time to blog - I do apologise for that...

The APB:R Giveaway will be this weekend, get your emails in, names + blogging names! To either me or Meng (email shown in earlier post).

GuildWars 2

Gotta say, I did not play Guild Wars for a long period of time, due to friends not playing and the fact is was slightly glitchy within its gameplay, then... ofcourse I also had lack of funds to buy the expansion packs!
Guild Wars 2 does however sound very promising, I did enjoy the whole aspect and potential of Guild Wars, with Guild v Guild PvP and the classes/spells and overall gameplay of it, This time I am hoping they completely nail it with the new guild wars - and I WILL be trying this game out as soon as I can!

Diablo 3

Anyone who hasn't heard of it is mad... Those who have heard of it, more than likely fans of previous Diablo's. Incredibly good games Diablo 1 + 2, ofcourse outdated now, but the looks of Diablo 3 looks very good! Different variations of the original classes, updated graphics, same sort of gameplay, and same faces here and there! Teaser:

Had a look at this game a few months ago, firstly wasn't too keen on the whole look of it... However I've just come across it again and had another look at it, it seems like it has the potential to be a very good game... I'm more than likely going to try this game, and nearer the time I shall update you with the server and any other details you might require to come join in with us all...

Delayed Introduction...

Hey, bang on posting a few times a day at the mo!

I figured, I have not actually explained what this blog is about... So here's a delayed introduction for you readers!

This blog will be about, in general... Gaming! There's a shocker! However more in detail to that, we will be introducing and featuring different frag movies, tutorials, fixes for games... anything that you viewers would find interesting and helpful. Not only that but the best part is, we are going to try our upmost to try give you freebies on whatever games we play, I have a team with me working to do this, so we will have a variety of different games to offer freebies on, or even help. This blog can also be a place for you to meet people on different games, or even meet our team and play with our team!

Dependant on the interest we are having for the APB Prizedraw, we will have more! With this not just on the Obeya EU server, but will also be moving over to the EU Patriot to give free stuff away! This may not just be money all the time, could include custom cars and other goodies!

APB:Reloaded kick starting, Prize Giveaway and Fragmovie!

Ok, looks like we are going to start this blog with a tad' of APB:Reloaded! Open Beta has been available for a while now, you can get involved over at www.gamersfirst.com, I would 100% recommend this game, I spend hours on it myself - as to which leads to my next point of... a prize giveaway!!!

100k Cash ingame is given to a player at random, all you have to do is follow this blog, and message any of the following players on the 'Obeya EU' server... 'Reece2Peng', 'Meng2Peng', 'Reece2strong', 'Meng2strong' giving us your blogging name and in-game name.
The player will then be entered to the prize draw, a name will then be picked at random and will be rewarded with the 100k cash. (Small print time, yipeeee - 100k cash not including the in-game tax for sending it).

Finally, we have decided to release a small frag movie, some of you may have heard of us, some of you may not... But Reece2Peng, Meng2Peng and Beck2Peng are Enforcers on the Obeya EU, will be releasing a small clip of some gameplay - and for those who may be interested in trying the game out can see some gameplay.
